100th Anniversary of Arrival of School Sisters to Egypt
The celebration upon the 100th anniversary of school sisters to Egypt took place in the St. Catherine's Church in Alexandria on Friday, 21 September 2008. A letter by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Danilo Türk, was read at the celebration, as well as a letter by the Society for the Preservation of the Cultural Heritage of Alexandrian Women and the Prvačina Local Community. A brochure entitled" Upon 100th Anniversary of Arrival of School Sisters to Egypt, 1909 - 2008" was published by the school sisters. The brochure depicts a rich hundred-year history of activities of the school sisters in Egypt.
